Gagnant du concours photo de la comète Lovejoy / Winner of the Comet Lovejoy photography contest





En février 2015, l'équipe AstroSpace avait sélectionné 9 images de la comète lovejoy prises par des astronomes amateurs internationaux. (article ici)

Nous vous avions confié le choix de la meilleure photographie de cette comète, sous forme d'un vote.
Voici donc la grande gagnante :


Lovejoy et les pléiades par Vincent Boudon

Bravo au photographe Vincent Boudon qui a capturé cette superbe image de la comète Lovejoy lors de son passage à proximité du célèbre amas ouvert des pléiades (M45), le 17 janvier 2015.


Vincent a utilisé un objectif Sigma 85mm FX1.4 EX DG installé sur un reflex EOS 500D, le tout monté sur une monture AstroTrac.

Une superposition de 46 images de 1 minute chacune à 800 ISO a été nécessaire pour obtenir ce résultat.
Pour les plus avertis : 10 darks, 20 offsets, 20 flats. Traitement avec le logiciel Siril.

La deuxième et troisième place reviennent à Youssef Bach Hamba (image de gauche) et à Hervé Lambert (image de droite)

On February, 2015, AstroSpace team had selected 9 images of the comet lovejoy taken by amateur astronomers across the world. (article here)

We had offered you the opportunity to vote for your best photograph of this fabulous comet.
Finally, we collect the results and the winner is ..... Vincent Bourdon (see his image just at the top of the article)

Vincent captured this stunning picture while the comet was in conjunction with the famous Pleaides open star cluster (M45) on January, 17 2015.

He used a Sigma 85mm FX1.4 EX DG lens in front of this EOS 500D camera mounted on an AstroTrac mount.
A 45-picture stacking was required to get this result.
For the astro-geeks : 45 x 1 minute, ISO 800, 10 darks, 20 offsets, 20 flats operated in Siril software.
