La Voie Lactée photographiée depuis l'ISS / The Milky Way photographed from the ISS

⇒ Voici une vue imprenable de la voie lactée immortalisée par l'Astronaute américain Reid Wiseman à bord de la Station Spatiale Internationale. Elle a été prise pendant que l'ISS survolait le désert du Sahara de nuit. 

L'astronaute photographe a même statué : 

 "The Milky Way steals the show from Sahara sands that make the Earth glow orange."

⇒ Autour de panorama stellaire figurent les différents compartiments de la Station (comme le vaisseau Soyouz en bas à gauche). On voit aussi très clairement l'atmosphère terrestre surlignée par l'arc rouge.

⇒ Enfin pour les  Astro Geeks, cette image fait rêver puisque qu'elle a été obtenue en seulement 3 secondes avec un objectif 24 mm ouvert à f/1.4 à 12 800 monté sur un Nikon D3S ! 

Cependant, compte tenu de la vitesse de 24 000 km/h de l'ISS, l'image devient vite floue au-delà de ces 3 secondes...

⇒ Here is an outstanding view of the Milky Way taken by american Astronaut Reid Wiseman onboard the International Space Station. It has been snapped while the ISS was flying over Sahara desert.

The Astronaut Photographer even stated : 

 "The Milky Way steals the show from Sahara sands that make the Earth glow orange."

 ⇒ Around this stellar panorama, we can notice the presence of the different parts of the Station, such as the Soyuz spaceship on the bottom-left corner. We also see clearly the Earth's atmosphere highlighted by the red bow.

⇒ Finally, for Astro Geeks, this image is the stuff of dreams because it has only been captured in 3 seconds with a 24-mm-lens of f/1.4 aperture mounted on a Nikon D3S !

However, the high speed of the ISS does not allow to exceed few seconds of time exposure. Otherwise the image is getting fuzzier...
